Hire a Minibus to Get To the Commonwealth Games 2014

Commonwealth Games

Are you getting excited about the commonwealth games? This year 2014, they are being held in Glasgow up in Scotland. The Queen’s Baton Relay arrived in the United Kingdom in May. It will reach Glasgow for the first time on the 20th July and will pass by the Gallery of Modern Art, George Square, Glasgow Cathedral and the Mitchell Library.

Whether you are competing in the events or watching as a spectator there is a lot to see and do. If you haven’t got your ticket yet, you can still buy them online. Don’t miss out in what is probably a chance in a lifetime that you will get to see everything live and close up.

Are you going there to watch a particular sport, or do you want to see as many of them as possible? No matter which country you are cheering for, and hope they go home with plenty of gold medals, there are many events to see.

Here is a list of the sports you may want to buy tickets for:

• Aquaticsminibus-to-Commonwealth-Games
• Athletics
• Badminton
• Boxing
• Cycling
• Gymnastics
• Hockey
• Judo
• Lawn Bowls
• Netball
• Rugby Sevens
• Shooting
• Squash
• Table Tennis
• Triathlon
• Weightlifting
• Wrestling

Maybe you are looking forward to watching and being a part of the opening ceremony. It’s going to be spectacular with music, such as Salsa Celtica, dance performances and circus acts. Get in to the party atmosphere, and have some fun. It may not be the Olympics, but it is the next best thing.

The roads in and around Glasgow are going to be extremely busy, so it will be a good idea not to drive there yourself. Having to find a parking spot is going to waste the time, you could be watching your favourite sport. So, why not hire a minibus with a driver to get you to your hotel, or straight to the games, if that is what you prefer. Manchester minibuses are going there, and will be very happy to drive you there with a group of friends and family in style.

Getting to Glasgow may take a little longer to get to than your local event, but you don’t have to worry about being bored. Our minibuses are fitted with a great music system, so you can listen to maybe some Scottish music to get you in the mood. Whatever you choose to do on your way there with your friends, you will have a great start to your holiday.
