Manchester’s China Town

China TownManchester has many neighbourhoods but hidden right in the heart of the city is the beautiful China town. Manchester’s china town is the second largest in the UK, and the third largest in Europe. Manchester’s China town has a beautiful archway which was donated to Manchester city council, it was made in China between 1986 and 1987, over the years the beautiful archway, which is decorated in dragons and phoenixes, suffered a little wear and tear and needed a restoration. The entire Chinatown community got behind this and did several charity events to raise the funds to restore the archway to its former glory.
